Seeking solace from depression and anxiety, I turned to art therapy, initially finding comfort in adult coloring books. It was during this exploration that I encountered pour painting—a technique that captivated me with its therapeutic potential. Though unfamiliar at first, I embraced the process wholeheartedly, recognizing its profound impact on my mental well-being.

Each creation is imbued with love and serves as a testament to the transformative power of artistic expression. Since embarking on this journey in 2019, my art has become a conduit for not only my own healing but also a source of inspiration for others navigating similar challenges.

Who is Eddie Money?

Eddie came into my life as an emotional support companion at just 3 months old. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, he is a spirited rat terrier mix. Eddie's arrival marked a profound turning point for me. In the depths of despair, I found solace and purpose in his presence. His unwavering loyalty and boundless affection illuminated the darkness that had once enveloped me.

Since our union, Eddie has been my constant source of strength and resilience. His companionship has not only restored my sense of joy but also empowered me to overcome the paralyzing grip of anxiety that once confined me to the walls of my apartment. Seven years have passed, and Eddie has seamlessly transitioned from a mere pet to an integral member of my family. He is not just a companion but a confidant, a beacon of unwavering support through life's trials and triumphs.

What Inspires You?

My inspiration is drawn from the vibrant tapestry of psychedelic rock from the 1960s and 1970s, as well as the immersive experience of The Grateful Dead's music and concerts.

What Defines Art to You?

To me, art encompasses everything—from the flawless execution of a pitcher's curveball to the stroke of a brush on canvas and everything in between. It's anything that ignites passion within someone.

How Does Painting Make You Feel?

Painting brings me profound happiness. It's a cathartic process that fosters a positive mindset, alleviating depression and anxiety, and allowing me to reconnect with myself.

I primarily work with acrylic paints on canvas, often incorporating silicone for unique textural effects.
